THE DAVIDSON CASE
RECTOR WANTS FUNDS LONDON, April 14. The Daily Express understapds that the Rev. Mr Davidson, rector of Stiffkey, in order to secure funds for his defence, is considering returning to his former career of giving humourous recitals in public, similar to those of George Grossmith and Corney Grain. He says that he used to earn £lOOO a year. * u t it stopped when he was ordained. Davidson adds that he hates the idea of appearing in public with his hat in his hand, but if he can earn money for his defence he will do so.
