ELECTION OF OFFICERS [ Per Press Association. J PALMERSTON N., Feb. IT. At the New Zealand Master Bakers* Conference, officers elected were:— President, Mr. A. Laurcnson (Dunedin); vice-presidents. Messrs L. A. Woodward (Christchurch), and T. Smith (Stratford); executive, Messrs J. McGregor, G. K. Mathieson, L- Burton, R. H. Montgomery, C. Cowan and C. Buchanan (all of Auckland); secrc-ctary-treasurer, Mr- J. Wilson (Auckland). The conference appointed a sub committee to frame a statement regarding the additional burden placed upon the industry by the provisions of the new award.
