MONTHLY REPORTS The following monthly reports wert adopted at yesterday’s meeting of the Wanganui Hospital Board: Report of the Matron, Jubilee Home for month of January: Number of inmates on January 1, 1932, 45; numbe t admitted during month, 4; number left home, 2; number died, 1; number remaining at end of month, 46; number in chronic ward, 9. The general health of inmates remains good. Report of the Bacteriologist (here* with report of bacteriological laboratory): Examinations maae, 701; fees recoverable, £l3 9s; fees non-recover-able, £ll 13s. Report of tho Wanganui District Nurse: No. of visits paid, 236; new cases, 19; discharged, 3; hospital, 2; died, 1; remaining on list, 22; fees collected, £4 12s 6d. Report of’the Marton District Nurse: Total number of risits, 172; number of confinements, 4; number of deaths, 1; minor operations, 1; number of new cases, 24; number of old cases, 3; number discharged, 20; number remaining on books, 7; fees received, £lB. Report of the Medical Superintendent, Wanganui Hospital: Number in hospital on January 1, 1932, 107; number admitted during the month, 193; total, 300; number discharged, 194; number died, 8; number remaining at January 31, 1932, 98; average number of occupied bods, 104.1. The total number rf sisters and nurses on the staff if 50. Six of those do not do bed-side nursing. Three nurses wore transferred from Taihape Hospital and one sister was temporarily engaged.
