HERD TESTING A summary of the operations of the Manawatu Co-operative Herd-Testing Association for the month of January shows that 12,415 cows were tested, and the butter-fat average was 29.52. CRICKET During the coming week-end a match will be played at Palmerston North between Bulls and Railway, and Factory is also arranging a game. On Saturday Sanson and Bulls will play at Bulls. Factory and Greatford met at Bulls at the beginning of the week, Greatford winning comfortably. Greatford put up a fine score, 173, of which R. Lewis made 47, N. Bryant 26 and R. Stantiall 21.
