THE DUCE ABROAD
That fine Italian villa, the Casa del Mare, at Roquebrune, between Mentone and Monte Carlo, has been bought by Signor Donegani, the Italian millionaire. For 25 years it was the French home of the late Mr. Osborne O’Hagan, who held his famous musical Sunday afternoon At Homes there for many a winter season. Extensive alterations are being made to the villa itself and the grounds, which run down to the seashore, are being remodelled and an open-air swimming pool is being installed- People persist in saying that this palatial residence is being made ready for Mussolini, in case he should permit himself at any time a long stay’ beyond the frontiers of his loved Italy.
