SALUTING THE UNION JACK. PROTEST AGAINST DECREE. VANCOUVER, Jan. 13. In a heated controversy over British Columbia Government decreeing the compulsory saluting of the Union Jack out of doors of the school every Monday opponents declare that the practice is distinctly anti-British, pro-United States, and is not tended to inculcate real British patriotism.
