COMPETITION VERY BRIGHT Received Jan. 14, 10 p.m. SYDNEY, Jan. 14. At the wool sales 10,391 bales were offered and 10,030 sold, and 38c 1 disposed of privately. The market closed, under brisk competition from Japanese and Continental buyers, with fair support from Yorkshire and the United States. Prices’ continued firm with a hardening tendency. Greasy Merino made to 19d.
