The Prince of Wales, on his own initiative, is addressing Y’oung Britain at the Albert Hall, on January 27, when the audience will consist of school boys, Boy Scouts and representatives of al] kinds of youth. His speech wi l ! be broadcast and repeated, by means of loud speakers, at 50 meetings in various parts of the country. Feeling that the present economic crisis calls for special efforts by the young people, tho Prince has asked the National Society of Social Service, to organise a means of kindling a spirit of unselfishness and inaugurating a cal] to voluntary service on. behalf of the nation.

The Commor.wealt Bank authorities are delighted with the turn affairs have taken. Mr. E. C. Riddle, Governor of the Bank, declared: “it is quite apparent that the people trust us, as we trust them. We do not anticipate any rush on funds after this.”
