FUTURE PROSPECTS
A BETTER OUTLOOK WITH COALITION. It is a remarkable fact that since the return of the National Government in England, trade has shown a distinct improvement. Cables from Great Britain show decidedly brighter outlook. There is no possible doubt that the effect of tho reinstatement of a prudent, sound administration has revived confidence, with a resulting loosening of capital : nd expansion of industry, both primary and secondary. It is certain that the -amo effect will be noted in New Zealand with the return of tho Coalition Government. With the secure knowledge that tho finances of the country aro in sure and capable hands, those engaged in production and trade generally will be relieved of the uncertainty and instability of present conditions, and an improvement will follow shortly. Already as a result of the Coalition pact, industry is showing signs of fresh vitality, with a substantial absorption of the unemployed. It is confidently expected that with the new Coalition Administration firmly established, this will become more marked. It is the duty of all those really concerned with the welfare of the country, and of their own affairs, to assist as far as they are possible. After all, the first duty of an elector is to vote in tho interests of the Dominion and of himself, and there can bo no question that these are synonymous with the return oi the Coalition Government.*
