DANCE AT KOHI Many were tho couples who took the floor at a dance held in the Kohi Hall recently in aid of the hall funds. Lycopodeum and streamers formed the decorations of the hall, while tho energetic committee worked hard to make tho dance a success. Donated by Air Thomas, a Christmas cake, on being raffled, was won by Airs C. Olliver. Several novelty dances wore held, Mr J. Quilinan and Alias A. Sinclair being tho winners of tho Alonto Carlo dance Among those present were: Afesdames Aforrison, Powell, C. Olliver, Partridge, Hill, Gilmour, Alasters (Patea), and Grant, and Alisses Powell (3), AlcCaul (.3), Hammond (2), Mitchell, Young, G. Masters (Patea), Wolfe, Elliott, Leo, Sinclair (3), Thomason (2), and Zimmerman, and Messrs Hammond (2), Anderson, Alitchell (4), Johnston, Quillinan, Young (3), Sinclair, Gifkins, Reid, Chong, Irving, Churton, Hawke, AlcDonald, Jobson, Imlach, Caudwell, Locker, Cunningham, F. Willis, Kerr, Alorrison, and others. ST. FRANCIS CHURCH Parishioners of St. Francis Church decided at a meeting last week to hold tho annual bazaar on Friday, December 11, in Dalgety’s Building. Stallholders were allotted, and several other details settled. BOWLD 1 Patea bowlers will pay tho Waverley Club a visit on Wednesday, when four rinks will compete in a match with the local bowlers.
