WEATHER FORECAST
General Situation. —Tho last of the recent westerly disturbances has passed rapidly eastwards, and an extensive auti-eyelono is moving towards New Zealand.
Forecast.—Winds: South-westerly, strong at first along tho east coast of the South Island, but otherwise light to moderate. Seas (N.Z. waters): Rather rough on the east coast and south of Castclpoint, but decreasing; elsewhere moderate. Tasman Sea: Moderate south-west winds with moderate seas. Weather: Becoming fine generally, but somo isolated southerly showers at first, more especially in western and southern districts. Fino weather is likely to prevail for several days
