Sir Flinders, who is 78 years of ago. is Edwards Professor of Egypto'ogr nt University College, London. Ho lias done extensive excavating work in Egypt since ISBO and written mnch on ancient life there. His grandfather was Captain Flinders, the Australian explorer.
