DON JAIME DEAD
THE SPANISH PRETENDER HEART FAILS SUDDENLY'. PARTS, Oct. 6. Within a week of his reconciliation with ex-King Alfonso, Don Jaime, of Bourbon, the Spanish Pretender, has died suddenly of heart failure, at the ago of 61. Jaimist circles in Madrid have decided to support another pretender in the person of Don Alfonso of Anjou, aged 82. uncle of Don Jaime . Don Jaime was the head of the House nf Bourbon-Anjou, descendants of Don Carlos. They were, excluded from the succession to the throne of Spain in 1837. He was born in Switzerland. He claimed to be the true heir to the throne in 1909 and again in 1928, by proclamation directed against the Government established in Spain. Don Alfonso, his father’s brother, was horn in London in 1849. lie married a Portuguese princess.
