YOUNG MAN’S DEATH

SUCCUMBED TO INJURIES ACCIDENT WITH GOODS LIFT [Ter Press Association. ] CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 28. Henry George Nelson Haxell, motor mechanic, aged 21, who was injured when a goods lift crashed at the premises of the Dominion Motors on on August 8, died this morning. He had driven a car on to tho lift when the cables broke and the lift dropped 20 feet to the bottom of the well. An inquest was opened and adjourned. “My son told me he remembered driving tho car on to the lift and nothing more,” said Haxell’s father.
