Old Number Plates. For riding a motor cycle with old number plates on it, Atervyn Hanna, V/angaehu, was fined £1 and £1 2s 6d costs in the Alagistrate’s Court yesterday Aid To Cricket. Speaking at the annual meeting of the Wanganui Cricket Association last night, Air W. J. Treadwell, chairman, said that he hoped that cricket would be given such an impetus by the recent visit of the New Zealand team to England that the next time a Dominion team went Home there would be direct representation from Wanganui.
