THE HOME OF COMPASSION
’pHE Home of Compassion, in its work in Wellington, receives
great support from the hotels and restaurants, and also from private persons in the supply of food. Conditions in Wanganui are different, and the work of the Home of Compassion is not so widely known. Donations in kind are equally acceptable by the Aubert Home of Compassion in Guyton Street, Wanganui, as they are in Wellington. The Aubert Home now ministers to seven aged invalids, and food and clothing would be very acceptable from private donors. A correspondent makes an appeal for this new institution in W’anganui, and the Chronicle endorses the appeal.
