Brown (Auckland). Occasion was taken on the conclusion of the monthly meeeting of the Wanganui Master Bakers’ Association on Thursday evening to make a presentation of a ease of pipes to Afr. C. IT. Petersen, of Glasgow Street, who had disposed of his busines with tho intention of taking up farming. In making the presentation. Mr. Smith, vice-pre sident of tho N.Z. Master Bakers’ As sociation. referred to the long associiition which Mr. Peterson had had with tho association. On behalf of the mem hers he had much pleasure in making tho presentation and wishing Air Peterson long life and happiness, with prosperity in hie new undertaking. Aeknowle<l'fing tho gift Afr.
