ANN HARDING
Born at Fort San. Houston, Texas, the daughter of a U.S. Army officer. Educated at Montclair and East Orange, N.J., then at Baldwin School, Bryn Alawr., Pa. Her first position was with the Welfare Department of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, New York City. Read script for motion picture company, in New York as side line. She remained with a Provincetown theatre group until their season closed eight months later. Then she accepted the first offer which came her way, to play a role in “Like A King.” Played two years with Bonstelle stock companies in Detroit, Buffalo and Providence. Then went to Broadway. Married Harry Bannister, a stage actor, and went with him to Hollywood. Took a screen test and won the leading role in “Paris Bound.” Has since appeared in “Condemned,” “Her Private Affair,” “Holiday” and ‘The Girl of tho Golden West.” Is five feet three inches in height, weighs 113 pounds, has blue eyes and silver blonde hair. Is the mother of a two-year-old daughter. Is starred in the rolo of Isabel in Frank Lloyd’s Fox Movietone, “East, Lynne.”
