ARTHUR'S PASS VISITORS Snow conditions were not absolute!;, ideal for skis and toboggans at Ar thur’s Pass on Sunday, says a Christ church paper, but that did not proven: the 400 odd excursionists from enjoy ing themselves. There was plenty of snow—about e foot on the station and carying depths on the road. The thow had set in be fore the excursionists arrived, but the surface remained in good condition There were more toboggans out thar usual and most of these found stretchej of hard snow where they could pro duce the necessary momentum. The more experienced ski-runner; found their way up to the ski-inf grounds, where the conditions wen much better. Here the opportunity wa‘ taken to get some practice for the Alpine sports that will take place nev! week-end.
