GERMAN RIDER’S PLANS
It is unofficially announced that E. Henne, the German B.M.W. expert, will be bringing out something very swift
m ‘fours” at the Arpajon meeting in August. It was significant that at the recent speed trials in Austria he only attacked records in the 750 and 500 classes and did not go for the world’s fastest speed with a “1000,” as it was generally expected he would. When this new B.M.W. four comes along it Will be just as fully streamlined as Henne’s racing twins and is likely to be exceptionally fast. It will be supercharged, and, as the B.M.W. concern have yet to build a racing machine that has not achieved its object, it looks as though Britain will not be able to rest on her laurels.
