MOTUROA OIL
( SATISFACTORY OUTLOOK [ Per Press Association. 1 NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 14. When Moturoa oilfields No. 2 well was opened to-day a bailer was lowered and found oil within 50ft. of the surface. The well began to flow and 100 barrels of oil were obtained in two hours, 75 barrels being collected in the main tank. The condition of the well is considered very satisfactory.
