When ten tons of gunpowder blew up the Portuguese military magazine at Macao yesterday great havoc was wrought among houses over a wide area. It was revealed to-day that over 30 were killed, including Portuguese, Chinese, and African soldiers. Several hundreds were injured. Troops flooded the bigger magazines, preventing an even greater disaster.
