INTER-ISLAND MATCH
TO-DAY’S FIXTURE. There is always great interest displayed in the annual contest between tho North and South Islands and fine weather will ensure a large attendance at Athletic Park to-day. A record of tho past reveals that since 1897 the North has won 14 matches out of the 25 played, and the South 9, the other two being drawn. The North Island has scored a total of 399 points and the South 261.
