WINTER SHIELD MATCH CHALLENGE FROM BUSH. WANGANUI DEFENDERS. The following team has been selected to defend the Winter Shield for Wanganui against the challenge from Bush:— Goal.—N. Hughes. Backs.—A. Hickman, G. Young. Halves.—Le Brun, Bannin, Wilson. Forwards. —Barlow, Tizard, Connell, Mclntyre, Gurney. Emergencies: Forwards: Thrush, Latham; backs: Hughes, Adams. The game will commence at 2 p.m. Mr F. Wilson has been appointed manager and visiting team will be entertained to tea in the evening. At this function all players are requested to attend.
