Unsportsmanlike. “It is very unsportsmanlike of the Christchurch Hunt to collar our date and very unjust of the Dates Conference to give it to them. We should not take it lying down, but go as far as we can with it,” said Air H. Elworthy, at a meeting of the South Canterbury Hunt last week, in commenting on the action of the Dates Committee in granting the Christchurch Hunt permission to race next year on what was con. sidered to be South Canterbury’s date, especially as Christchurch did not race in August this year.
