BRITISH LIBERALS

VISCOUNT GREY’S VIEW RUGBY, Aug. 9. Defining his personal views of the [policy of the Liberal Party in the House of Commons, Viscount Grey of Fal’odon, said that at the beginning of the present Parliament the Liberals felt that the present Government, with whose fiscal and foreign and Indian policy the Liberals were in agreement, should be supported. As regarded foreign and Indian affairs, they still felt that there was no reason for any change of Government, and. on the contrary, foreign and Indian affairs and such questions as disarmament had been handled by the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary with patience, skill, and ability. He was more critical of the Government, however, on domestic affairs.
