THE Christian Science Monitor indulges in the following editorial rhyming:—■ When you’re up to your neck in bills overdue. And you figure your assets And they’re all too few: When your wife wants clothes And the children want food. And you can’t be pleasant: you’re almost rude; When you don’t know whether to run or fight— The outlook’s as dark as the blackest night— But you open your mail and You find a check That comes just in time to avert a wreck.
