BANKS RESUMING OPERATIONS Received Aug. 5. 9.20 p.m. BERLIN, Aug. 5. Although the restrictions will not be removed till to-morrow, many banks resumed operations to-day, when amounts paid in exceeded withdrawals Dr Bruening (Chancellor) broadcasting to-night, indicated that the banks would be brought under the control of the Government, and declared that the emergency measures had nothing to do with inflation, and depositors need not be afraid that, they would lose their hard-earned savings.
