THEFT OF DRAPERY Press Association. I WELLINGTON, June 27. Janet Barnet', aged 5, was to-day convicted and was ordered to come up for sentence if called upon and to pay 10s restitution, the value of the damaged goods recovered. When detected in a drapery shop she had goods, valued at £7 5s 4d, in her possession and another £1 17s 6d worth was found in her home. It was stated that she was married and living apart from her husband in very poor circumstances with her son and daughter. The son was not working. Accused: Will you suppress my name for tho sake of my family! Afr McNeil, S.M.: I am not going to suppress names in shoplifting cases. It is not fair to shopkeepers. J
