FARM BOARD WHEAT
SALE OF 1930 HOLDINGS. PRESIDENT HOOVER’S REQUEST. Received June 28, 7.40 p.m. WASHINGTON, June 21. Mr Hoover to-day asked the Farm Board to reconsider its dccisio to sell the holdings of 1930 wheat crop, as a result of a protest from the wheat growers and farm organisations, who fear competition with the 1931 crop. The board immediately began a session to consider the President’s request, which is held to be tantamount to an intimation that the board must change its policy.
