WEATHER FORECAST
General situation.— An anti cyclone is advancing across the Tasman Fea. with its centre to the north. A moderate depression hits been crossing the Dominion, rhe weak centre being located near Cook Strait. Forecast.—Winds: Moderate to strong westerly to southerly, squally at times in Cook and Foveaux Straits. Seas (N.Z. waters): Rather rough on tho West Coast and off shore south of East Cape, elsewhere moderate. Tasman Sea: Moderate to fresh south-west winds in the eastern Tasman Sea, with moderate to rough seas. Weather: Cold and changeable generally, with scattered showers, more especially in dis* tricts with a westerly aspect. Some snow probable on the ranges in tho South Island.
