CONVENIENT THEATRE SEAT
A new theatre seat with a pivoted back, recently introduced in Seattle, will make sleeping more comfortable through a dreary production. When a belated arrival tries to squeeze into x row of seats the occupants do not have to rise to let him by. Remaining seated, persons push against tho back rests of their seats, moving them to a vertical position ami increasing the space between their knees and the backs of the scats in front. The new seats take up no mor» room than those now In use, to which the pivoted back can be attached.
