THE WANGANUI CLUB. 1 SUCCESSFUL SHOW. The Wanganui Toy Dog Club staged its seventh annual show in conjunction with the Winter Show. There were good entries some being of a high standard, dogs coining from as far as Auckland and Wellington. The show will remain open to-day. It was an outstanding exhibition and very creditable for the size of the town at this time of year, said the judge, of the toy dogs, Airs A. Glynes, uf Auckland. The classes, she said, were well filled, and the show had been arranged well. There were some quite outstanding Pomeranians, one from Wellington, owned by Mr Dalton, being the winner for the best puppy in the show and the winner of best entry of opposite sex. The best dog was owned by Mr Jamieson, of Auckland, being Oakland Golden Firefly. Mrs Nolan, of Auckland, had the best Pekinese, which was a dog of fine quality. The prize for the best dog ur bitch in the show was awarded to Airs A. Al. Jamieson’s Oakland Golden Firefly, a Pomeranian, while that for tht. best novice of any breed was won by Aliss Gwen Seabrook with Sunshine King, another Pomeranian. The Winter Show Stakes was awarded to Mrs Jamieson’s entry, while the best dog of opposite sex was Air R. J. W. Dalton’s Goldbrook Lady Pam.
