PAHIATUA SUPPORTERS. [Per Press Association.] DANNEVIRKE, Juno 26. A large meeting of Reform supporters asked Air Alarcus D. Smith (Mayor) to accept nomination as the Reform inrdidatc for tho Pahiatua electorate. Air Smith stated that he was endeavenrif to make arrangements with regard io his private business and would g'vo an answer in a fortnight. The meeting passed a unanimous le solution to be forwarded to Afr Cnal.cs that fu don at tho present time would not bo in the best interest of the De minion.
