Frontiersmen B. J. Harrison K. Prouse, G. Wilks, Captain A. Hardie, and Lieutenant D. Curran left for Auckland last night to attend tho annual conference of tho Legion of Frontiersmen. w Guests who registered at Foster’s Hotel last night were: Mr and Mias R. H. Johnson, and Mr J. M. Hoekin (Auckland); Mr H. Mihehell (Palmerston North); Mr 0. H. Christie (Christchurch); and Mr C. H. Davies (Wanganui). Mr W. p. Allen, an old boy and exhead prefect of the Wanganui Boys’ Collegiate .School, and .son of ono of the present house-masters, has completed his first year at Cambridge University. He has been successful In gaining a double first in modern languages tripos.
