WEATHER FORECAST
General Situation.—A depression has moved on lo the Dominion and has become very intense. Forecast.—Winds: Strong northerly winds to gales backing to westerly, and later to south-westerly. Seas (N.Z. waters): Rough to heavy. Eastern Tasman sea: Strong west to south-west winds to gales, and rougli to heavy seas. Weather: Dull, unsettled and squally, with general rain, some heavy falls of snow on the ranges, and hail in places. Temperatures becoming cold.
