tThere were 37,236 bales of 1928-29 : carry-over also sold during tho same period. *ln. addition to these figures .1728 bales of 1928-29 clip, carried over, were still in store awaiting disposal ; at 3.1/5/30. The average price realised over all : centres for greasy wool in Al ay, 1931, was 9.50 d a lb, and the average a bale was £.13 5s 9d. The average price ' realised over all centres for greasy wool from July .1, 19d0, to May 31, 1931, was 8.66 d a ]b, and the average 1 a bale was £ll 3s 7d.
