SPANISH HERO
MAJOR FRANCO INJURED. COLLAPSE OF A PLATFORM. Received June 25, 11.55 p.m. LONDON, June 25. A Seville message says that Major Franco, the Spanish aviator, who has been a Republican hero since Alfonso’s overthrow, sustained critical injuries caused by the collapse of a platform from which he was addressing a political meeting at Loradelrio. Twenty occupants of the platform were flung down, and several were seriously injured.
