ELECTION TO TAKE PLACE The returning officer announces tliat lie has received the following nominations for the three vacancies Lor producers ’ representatives on the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board: IL D. Acland. Christchurch (sitting member); James Carr, Methven; J. U. Coop, Ataahua, Little River; .1. S. Jessop, Wavroa (sitting member); Win. Perry, Masterton (sitting member). The election will take plave on Aug nst 27 when the delegates who will be elected to represent the various districts throughout the Dominion and who will constitute the electoral com mittee, will assemble in Wellington to consider the ninth annual report and statement of accounts of the Board and to elect the three producers’ representatives on the Board. As already advertised, nominations for delegates to the electoral committee close at the Board’s office at noon on June 30. and a postal ballot will then be conductfd among** the sheepfarmers in the districts where the •omination? are in excess of the num»<»r of delegates required.
