OPERATIONS REVIEWED. PREMIER’S STATEMENT. (Per Pre. « Association.) WELLINGTON, June 24. A statement issued by tho Prime Minister in reviewing the operations of the Local Government Loans Board, states that applications for the past year amounted to £3,840,595, new amounts sanctioned £1,766,256, renewals £838,901. During four years of operation of tho Act, the applications amounted to £18,702.930, now amounts sanctioned £12,408,834, renewals £3,664,793.
