RUN OVER BY ENGINE

MAN’S REMARKABLE ESCAPE. Although the engine of a train which was approaching the North Richmond station, 40 miles from Sydney, passed over him, Mr A. J. Butler, of Grose Vale, escaped serious injury. Air Butler had fallen into a cavity between the rails, and became unconscious. The enginedriver of the train saw his body, but was unable to pull up in time. It was feared that he had been killed, but when he was released it was found that he was suffering only from a cut on tho face, which he had apparently received when he fell on the line.
