Lott beat Landry in straight sets; Hughes beat Gregory five sets. Other winners were.- Sharpe, Brugnon, Wood, Austin, Van Ryn, Perry, Boumsus, Satoh, Borotra Ladies’ singles, first round: Sent,rita d’Alvarez beat Mrs Lycctt; Miss Betty Nuthall beat Madame Herthet. Second round: Fraulein Aussem beat Allie. G'oldbmidt.
