: TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND INDIAN REPRESENTATIVES. TOUR IN SEPTEMBER. At the annual meeting of the Newt Zealand Hockey Association, held in-w Christchurch on April 28. it was decided T to invite the Indian Hovkey Federation to send the Olympic Games teain on a tour of New Zealand in September, 1932, after the games in Los Angeles. Apropos of this invitation, it will ba of interest to state that, another had previously been sent to Field-Marshal Sir William Bird wood, asking if hi Indian team could bo sent on tour ol tho Dominion in 1932. Sir Willinii wrote replying that, though the invitation was much appreciated, tho time was not yet opportune for sending another Army team on a visit to New Zealand. Thus, unable to secure the visit of an Army team to our shores, the Now Zealand Hockey Association, determined not to be outwitted by adverse circumstances, decided to angle for the visit of the Olympic Games team. The team will include such a great figure in tho art of hockey as Dhian Cbftnd, who was the star piaycr of the Indian Army team which toured this country in 1926.
