AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP. BLACK IN FINE FORM. Received June 22, 8.40 p.m. SYDNEY, June 22. The New South Wales amateur golf championship was continued to-day under perfect conditions. In tho third round the New Zealand champion Black was again in line form to defeat E. T. Simpson 4 and 3. At the 14th holo Black sank a 10ft putt for 2to be dormio four. The match was all over at the next hole, which the pair halved in bogey 5.
