N.Z. Winners.
The ex-Riccarton gelding Philippic recorded an easy win by two lengths from Aorangi in the Canterbury Handi cap, one mile and three furlongs, at Canterbury Park (Sydney 5 ) on June 6 for which he was favourite. The fol lowing event, the second division of the Flying Handicap, gave the seconr choice. Anda, an even more comfortable success by three lengths from the favourite. King Crow. Auda raced in the colour l ’ of his trainer. C. O’Rourke, and both winners were ridden by the ap prentice J. Pratt. At the same meet ing the Nursery Handicap was won by Dollar Princess, by Paper Money froir Piquant. She was ridden by M. Me Carton and ranked as third favourite Dollar Princess, bred at the FJderslir Stud, was purchased at the Sydney yearling sales by Mt D. J. Davis foi 180 guineas, but is now owned by hei trainer. ('.
