MAN’S TWO SILVER WEDDINGS

Air James Labden, of Streatham Hil.. London, celebrated his second silver wedding recently. He married first in 1877, when he was aged 17 years, his wife dying in 1904. His second wedding took place in 1906. “Some men may think marriage is a lottery.” Air Labden said to an interviewer, “but I think it is one of the finest institutions in the world. My two silver weddings have been a great double blessing, and I would not like to say which lias given me the greatest happiness. My advice to the young men of to-day, who appear tu b’’ frightened of getting married, is to take a chance. I do not know what 1 would have done without either nn firs or second wife.”
