NARROW ESCAPE
CHILD IN BURNING HOUSE. DISCOVERED JUST IN TIME. [ Per Press Association. J STRATFORD, June 21. Looking out of a milking shed at Cardiff yesterday morning, a farmer, Mr A. Goble, saw his house in flames, and was just in time to enter by a window and rescue his two-months-old baby from a smoke-filled room. Mr Goble and his wife went to milk, leaving the baby in tho house. Mrs Goble went later to sec if the child were all right. On reaching the shed door she saw the house enveloped in flames, and the shock caused her to faint. Her husband rushed out and just saved the child in the nick of time. The house and contents were a total loss. Tho building was insured for £275 and the furniture for £2OO.
