Inevitable was in front most, of the way, followed by First Raid, Royal Saxon and Noteworthy. First Raid joined Inevitable at the entrance to the straight but Royal Saxon wore them down and won by a neck, with the third horse a neck away. Time: 1.42 1-5. Glenrowan was fourth. Buckenhani at Frankton, is by Warplane (standing in the Wanganui district) from Charwoman, by Signor from J Churmain, by St. Ambrose from Success, ami she thus comes from the same family as Kilwinning (who won the Great Northern Derby for Sir George Clifford in 1910) and Kilberry (the dam of Tommy Dodd, Countersign ami Victory Bond). Victory Bond is the dam of Tray Bond and Fairweather. Domestic Trouble, therefore, is well 1 bred. He previously raced in the colours of Mr W. H. Gnisfnrd and Mr .T. lOrmond.
