KAIERAU ON THE RISE OLD BOYS FALLING BACK SATURDAYS RUGBY DESCRIBED IN DETAIL Saturday's Rugby in Wanganui dislodged Old Boys from the top rung of the ladder, which they were sharing with Technical Old Boys and Pirates, and relegated them to the third. Pirates and Technical Old Boys maintained their positions and Kaierau lifted the maroon flag two points higher than it was. The match at Ratana was the closest of the three played. Technical Old Boys managing to come home with victory gained in the second spell. On Spriggens Park both Old Boys and Marist fell from grace and left Pirates and Kaierau easy victories.
FLASHLIGHT IMPRESSIONS. Kaierau ■will be in at the finish. Weight tells in the end. North has found his right place at first five-eighths. Old. Boys could not handle, would not tackle and so bit the dust. .-smart has livened the sting in the Pirate rearguard at centre. What a clash it will be when Pirates and Kaierau meet!
