CRASH ON MOUNTAIN SIDE BODY HUDDLED IN 'PLANS Received June 19, 7.30 p.m. MELBOURNE, June 19. Searchers located Ekins’ airplane with the nose deeply buried in the nidj of a mountain at Tallarook. The machine was upside down and Ekins’ body was huddled in the cockpit with terrible injuries to the head. A portion of one wing was high up in a tree and the remnants of the othei wing in adjoining trees. It is believed that owing to bad visi bility Ekins was flying low and hit w tall tree on the mountain side and crashed He was a respected member of the Civil Aviation Dopnrtment.
